They’re all mobile responsive + HTML5 (I tripled checked) and compatible with the WooCommerce plugin. You’ll find setup instructions, pricing, and other helpful resources in my descriptions. Most are $50 – $130 depending if you’ve already purchased Genesis and I recommend using StudioPress’ plugins and tutorials to customize your theme, as well as the theme’s setup instructions. Most of these Genesis WooCommerce themes are feminine (because most of the developers are females) but the content/colors can always be changed.
I went through all these thoroughly and highlighted my favorites themes – Authority Pro, Digital Pro, Parallax Pro, and Hello You Designs also has nice Genesis WooCommerce themes.

Hi Tom, I think I would go with the 8. Refined pro.
I think this is an amazing template!
I have a question: I don’t see categories in the Shop for the Products. On Etsy I have the categories on the left side to the Products, can Custmize that?
The other question is: When I zoom in the Product, a black Background appears. Can I change that into a different colour or just blur it?
The last one: I see, I can add more images for a better presentation of the product. How many images are possible to add?
It’s really good collection of genesis theme. which is on woo commerce and seo base . I will use magazine pro for my site.
Excellent read, Positive site, where did u come up with the information on this posting? I have read a few of the articles on your website now, and I really like your style. Thanks a million and please keep up the effective work
Hello Tom, l am using Genesis and woocomerce to build eshops the last 3 years and l am facing the same problem again and again.
l cannot find an proper theme built for eshop so l need to install many plugins that make the whole site to slow down in speed.
Moreover, some of the plugins are incompatible and sometimes the eshops stand steel, or the shopping cart is not working properly.
Any ideas for a good genesis theme built for eshop first?
Thoughts on zigzag press?
Mixed. Great for small microsites but wouldn’t use them for my main site. They started off great but recently I’ve had second thoughts about their support. Also spotted lots of typos in their demo content which makes me think if they overlook basically spelling, they might overlook other things too. Just my thoughts :)
Hello Tom,
Thank you for your list! I found that I am attracted to Hello You designs, but some are recommended by Studio Press and other not. What is that about?
I am looking for an ecommerce light (not a ton of products), maybe a blog but maybe not, artsy kind of look and she has come close.
I came to Genesis and StudioPress after much reading and putting long term stability and simplicity as the most important quality for my site(s). The Studio Press sites are mostly very staid looking.
There are other features that I will want to incorporate, but my guess it that I would need plugins (appointment maker, survey capturing, downloadable PDF, lookbooks, chat)
Can you make a recommendation?
Sure Victoria.
On the StudioPress FAQs page they say “We are not currently adding to our recommended developers list. We occasionally invite developers based on exceptional participation in the StudioPress community. Active participation in the StudioPress Community forums is a great way to get involved.” But I’m sure aside from participation they also look for good coding, design, documentation, etc.
You’re right – StudioPress themes are super minimal but I prefer them because you are basically guaranteed reliability, ongoing updates, great documentation, and like you said you should have long-term stability/simplicity. The demos on StudioPress usually showcase very few plugins – maybe Genesis Simple Slider and a few others so they are made to appear minimal.
I exchanged quite a few emails with Jessica (from Hello You Designs) awhile back when she first opened her theme store and she was super friendly and although I haven’t tested any her themes, she sounds like she really cares about them and is also very responsive. If you like a theme from there, I would reach out to her with any questions and I’m sure you will know after that :)
Regardless of which theme you choose you will need those plugins. Most documentation lists which plugins are used on the demos but you will need additional ones for whatever functionality you’re looking for.
Hope that helps – let me know!
Hello there, You’ve done an excellent job. I will definitely digg it and personally recommend to my friends.
Awesome, thanks!
Hi Tom,
Great post, thanks for sharing!
Quick question: I’m about to build a new site and really have my heart set on Centric Pro (a non-Woocommerce-ready Genesis theme). What are your thoughts on the Genesis Connect for Woocommerce plugin? I’m not super techy, so I need something pretty simple – which is why I know it’d be better to go with a theme that’s already Woocommerce ready – I’m just really in love with Centric (it’s the header that really gets me!).
Any words of wisdom regarding the Genesis Connect plugin would be super appreciated! Thanks so much!
From what understand the main benefit to a WooCommerce-ready theme is that it’s pre-styled (it includes store pages). Other than that, the Genesis Connect for Woocommerce plugin does everything else.
Woo commerce it is new concept everybody should not full of awareness but it is good for us all of people shopping online easy to buy woo commerce
